Matching Botanicals & Layers to Your Strands

For low porosity hair, choose a clear, gel-like shampoo with aloe vera and chamomile. These ingredients gently lift buildup without weighing down the strand. Avoid heavy butters in your cleanser – they’ll just sit on top and cause dullness.

For high porosity hair, a creamy, milky shampoo with rice water and oat milk will help fill gaps in the cuticle. If your hair is medium porosity, you can alternate between both types, depending on the season and your styling needs.

🌿 Quick Porosity Match Guide

  • Low Porosity & Fine Strands: Choose clarified herbal hydrosols (rosemary, nettle, peppermint) and airy internal layers.
  • Medium Porosity & Wavy Textures: Balance lightweight aloe hydration with cold-pressed jojoba and point-cut movement.
  • High Porosity & Curly Strands: Seal moisture with oat lipids, babassu butter, and flaxseed curl definition.
