Camille’s 10-Minute Clean Styling Protocol

Start by brewing a strong nettle tea—two tablespoons of dried nettle leaf in two cups of boiling water, steeped for 20 minutes. Strain and let it cool to room temperature. In a separate bowl, mix one part raw, unfiltered ACV with four parts filtered water (or five, if you have sensitive skin). Combine the two liquids in a squeeze bottle or spray bottle.

After your usual sulfate-free shampoo, gently squeeze out excess water from your hair. Apply the rinse section by section, making sure every strand is saturated. Let it sit for 5 minutes—set a timer, don’t rush it—then rinse thoroughly with cool water. I tell my clients to finish with a cold blast from the showerhead to seal the cuticle even further. Then, apply a pea-sized amount of your favorite botanical oil to damp ends and air-dry or diffuse on low heat.
