Camille’s 10-Minute Clean Styling Protocol
Start by washing with a low-lather, sulfate-free shampoo that respects your scalp’s microbiome. Massage gently with your fingertips, then rinse with cool water to close the cuticle and lock in moisture. Follow with a marshmallow root conditioner, leaving it on for five minutes while you detangle with a wide-tooth comb from ends to roots.
For the gloss, brew a strong cup of hibiscus tea, let it cool, and mix in a teaspoon of amla powder and a few drops of jojoba oil. Apply this mix to damp, sectioned hair, focusing on the mid-lengths and ends. Cover with a shower cap and let it sit for 20–30 minutes—you can even sit in gentle sunlight to boost the warmth. Rinse with cool water, blot with a microfiber towel, then apply a pea-sized amount of safflower oil to your palms and scrunch upward. Diffuse on low heat for 10 minutes, or air-dry for a heatless finish.
