Camille’s 10-Minute Clean Styling Protocol

Start with a sulfate-free shampoo, focusing on the scalp, then follow with a botanical conditioner rich in aloe and shea. After rinsing, gently squeeze out excess water and apply a leave-in conditioner with rosemary and marshmallow root for slip. Then, flip your head upside down and scrunch in a curl cream, using a microfiber towel to blot—never rub.

For styling, I always tell my clients to use a diffuser on low heat and low speed. Place the diffuser at the roots, hold for 30 seconds, then move to the mid-lengths, cupping the curls and pushing upward to encourage bounce. Finish with a cool shot to set the shape. If you’re air-drying, use a wide-tooth comb to part and let it set, then fluff the roots with your fingers once dry.
