4. Long-Term Scalp Care, Glossing & Maintenance
Welcome to Part 4 of 4 of my guide on Marshmallow Root Slip & Shingling for Juicy 3B–3C Curls. Keeping your cuticle glossy and your ends split-free between trims comes down to a few simple weekly habits.

📌 Pin Hair Guide
Preserving Your Cuticle & Natural Shine
Between washes, refresh your curls with a spray bottle filled with water and a splash of marshmallow root gel. This reactivates the slip and redefines without weighing hair down. At night, pineapple your curls in a silk scarf or use a satin pillowcase to prevent friction and preserve your definition.
Every five days, I recommend a re-shingle session: wet your hair, apply a bit more gel, and smooth any unruly sections. Once a month, treat your scalp to a rosemary hydrosol massage to keep it healthy and balanced. And of course, visit your stylist for a micro-trim to keep those ends fresh and curl-ready.
