Start with a sulfate-free shampoo, focusing on the scalp, then follow with a moisturizing conditioner. While your hair is soaking wet, apply a leave-in conditioner and a curl cream, raking them through with your fingers. Then, flip your head upside down and scrunch gently to encourage the curl clumps.
For styling, I always say: let it air-dry or use a diffuser on low heat. If you’re in a rush, a diffuser with a bowl attachment works wonders—just cup the curls and hold still, don’t rake. Once dry, use a few drops of argan oil on your palms and scrunch the ends to add shine and break the cast.
